Music Synchronicity, Harrison Ford, and Mythic Quest

That feeling when you’re writing about a bunch of cat and mouse engineers building an artificial gravity generator in your novel-in-progress and the Glee version of “Defying Gravity” comes on your playlist.

Last week, my family watched through all the Indiana Jones movies, ’cause it became clear the younger child didn’t remember them.

Tomorrow we’re thinking of watching The Fugitive to follow the Harrison Ford thread. With chocolate donuts. With those little sprinkles on them.

I wish A. E. Goldsmith were the fictional sci-fi writer from the 70s that Mythic Quest followed… and not the two men fighting over her.

Even so, it’s exciting to see a depiction of writers that understands how a writer could be well-published, award-winning, and need a day job.
