The Clone Wars looks like a kid show, but the more I watch, the more it seems like Star Wars’ version of The Silmarillion — supplemental materials & backstory for True Fans willing to wade through something long & dense.

Here I am posting a comparison of Star Wars to Tolkien and all of a sudden—Dark Side Yoda shows up on screen!
Dark Side Yoda seems to be basically Gollum. So, clearly, Yoda is the living conduit between those two universes, binding them together through The Force.
The One Ring is a manifestation of The Force.
