Sometimes Existence is Poetic

I can see the gibbous moon through the bare branches of a red maple tree in my window. Squirrels run along the top of the fence behind it. The sky is a pale blue.

And the page on my computer screen in front of me, bright and white, is filled with words about a dark cave on a faraway alien world.
