Claude Being Cute and a Genuinely Legitimate Tool

It’s kind of adorable how every time Claude writes a first draft of song lyrics for me it voluntarily adds a note at the end about which part is its favorite and why.

We’re entering a time when AI is going to become a genuinely legitimate writing tool. It can already write perfectly good flash fiction. However, if you use AI to write fiction, you’ll need to really work with it to make the story actually say what you want and be good.

Basically, the quality of a story will still end up dependent on the quality of the writer, whether they’re writing from scratch or working with an AI.

AI doesn’t kill creativity; it accelerates, multiplies, assists, and endlessly, untiringly supports creativity.
