Time to start rewatching Stargate Universe!
The last time I watched this, the only other Stargate I’d seen was the very original movie. So this should be fun. Already, I’m very much enjoying the SG-1 cameos, which I’d been totally unaware of before.
I can really see why watching Stargate Universe sent me back to the beginning to watch all the Stargate I’d skipped. This movie-length pilot is incredibly strong.
All the characters — all of them — are compelling. And the balance between Everyman Eli and Morally Complex Rush is so, so good.
