Of Jupiter and Daffodils

by Mary E. Lowd

Rings and whorls
Spinning swirls
Of jovial daffodils
Looping like braids
Swooping like cranes
Delivering luck and hope
When they come by the thousands
Hanging in the sky like a mobile
Fascinating, entrancing and elating
Any who dare to stare
At a sky so full of springtime gold
