by Mary E. Lowd

Rainbow lines surround
Wavy white
Pointed bright
She sails on wings
Through abstract spaces
Music seen, not heard
Clear, not blurred
An experiment, a trifle
But you can gaze at her a while
As the world breaks down
Around you
At least this: you saw a unicorn
