I just re-read SPACE HOUNDS!… And I really wish that the author would write some more of it! Oh… wait… Sigh. #TooManyProjects

I remember the bananas in “Diary of a Wartime Bride” (a subset of “To Elsie With Love”) playing a much more significant role.

I’ve come into possession of the copyrights for my grandfather’s three memoirs — “Jam on the Ceiling,” “To Elsie with Love,” and “My Wife Has Alzheimer’s” — and plan to release them as e-books in the coming year.

Working on two different Shreddy stories simultaneously…

Zero to story in 48 hours. That has to be a record for me.

The four-year-old came running in: “There’s so many imaginary guys! And so many imaginary cats! And so many imaginary dogs here!”

Elaine is playing a pretend game that involves skipping about and happily saying, “I sold a story today!”

Elaine has introduced two more imaginary talking cats to our household: Mornging Glory and Honeysuckle. That brings us up to five, including the original three: Rosie, Froggy, and Quinny. Froggy is, of course, a green talking cat.

Today, my daughter says that we’re playing a game called “The Mermaid and her Swimming Cat.” I get to be the cat. She’s the mermaid.

I tallied it up, and I’ve written 100,000 words of fiction in the last year. Yet, somehow, I still feel like I’m not writing enough…
