Start looking for it. You’re enabling it.
I see this dynamic up close when Christians either turn on a dime & become nasty upon realizing I’m not Christian or when they’ve been nasty & get deeply confused when I show I can speak their jargon, at which point they get really interested in pinpointing if I’m Christian, presumably so they can choose whether to continue being nasty to me or not.
