The Fox and the Other World

by Mary E. Lowd

Jumping across the veil
Between one world and
Another
This fox’s paws will cover
More ground
Than if she’d stayed bound
To a single world
Let her explore
It’s reasonable to want
To discover more
Than can be found in old haunts
Places she’s already trotted
So many times before
