Has an epic story to tell
Because not every gryphon
Lives an epic life
(Full of adventure and heroes)
Some gryphons
Stay at home
By a fireside
(Or even without a fire
—maybe something more mundane
Like a vent in the floor
Blasting warm air from a heating duct)
They lounge and play
Staying with their loved ones
Living life in small ways
Some gryphons
Are barely mythical creatures at all
Just big house cats
With funny beak-faces
(And wings)
Some gryphons
Just want to be hugged
Some gryphons
Barely have stories to tell
At all
