I love how much the thirteen-year-old bakes.
Butterfly wings are beautiful, but without the wings, butterflies are as creepy as any creepy insect. And if you spend any time thinking about chrysalises, it’s sheer nightmare fuel. Also, story fuel. This is why I’ve written so much sci-fi about butterfly aliens.
