I’ve been re-watching Parks & Rec with my kids, and I always loved Leslie Knope’s journey, but it’s hitting me even harder this time, now that I’m further along mine.
The way she achieves her dream, loses her dream, readjusts, and just keeps struggling… It’s everything.

Unpopular opinion: Look, I know Ron Swanson is funny, but he’s also a pathetic baby who refuses to ever do any emotional work at all, shunting it all entirely onto the people around him, while also actively undermining any good things happening, and I pretty much hate him.
