I’m rewatching the original Quantum Leap with my ten-year-old, and we’re up to the episode where a town tries to outlaw rock’n’roll…
And it just has me thinking about what a weird trip it’s been this last year discovering how many people would still ban rock if it were new.
And I think the weirdest part — which the Quantum Leap episode kind of showed — is that none of them THINK they’re the kind of people who would’ve banned rock’n’roll, because “this is different!”
It’s always different this time, isn’t it?
