Dark, round & weighty
Silky, black & velvety
Can anyone escape?
Beware, if you traipse
Too close to this
Gravitational pull
This soothing purr—
A whole world
Of love & warmth & coy
Feline graces—
When caught in its embraces
You may ne’er leave
But oh what joy
Ye shall receive!
