Crystal Maze

by Mary E. Lowd

Enter the crystalline labyrinth
Get lost in its rainbow halls
Let the width of your world
Compress down
To squiggly reflections
On translucent walls

Look up & see the spires
Rising higher than you could climb

You may be trapped here
But at least you’re trapped
Somewhere sublime
