When in-between
The place you’re fleeing
And a new home you’re seeking
The intricate pathways
—highways and byways—
Of a universe turned sideways
All around you…
You may feel lost—
Like the journey comes
At too high a cost
And you’ve been tossed
Into utter chaos
But do not despair
You’re halfway there!
And the other side
—almost in reach, almost here—
Will be beyond compare
