In the Room

The voices in the room
Criss-crossing
Over, under
Each other

Speaking of hope & doom
How to think
Who is right
All through the night

Never ceasing
Unrelenting—

For a moment
A connection
Two minds meet
Not necessarily to agree
But seeing each other
A small wonder

& that is why
