It’s bad Christmas movie season!
We’re starting this year off with Mystic Christmas, because there’s a sea lion in the picture for it.
Will there actually be a sea lion in the movie??? Hard to say! Fingers crossed.
I love how low pressure bad Christmas movies are. If they’re any good at all, it’s always a delight and surprise.
There is a seal! Awesome!
Warning: Mystic Christmas is not a furry movie; though it does have a pretty satisfying amount of seals and sea lions for a mediocre Christmas movie.
Mystic Christmas was a way above average mediocre Christmas movie. It was actually serious about having a marine biologist main character who was saving a sick seal. So yay.
Up next: “Never Been Chris’d” which sounds exceptionally questionable based on the quality of that title.
“Never Been Chris’d” was a surprisingly okay, albeit unsurprisingly cheesy, little story about the friendship between two women and both of their relationships with their mothers. It was also nice how much it balanced Christmas with Hanukkah.
