Tidbits about Doctor Who & Lost In Space

Avery still doesn’t get it. If the spirit of Christmas involves paying attention to an inanimate monstrosity of a decorated tree instead of HER, then she wants none of it.

She is SO MUCH prettier than a Christmas tree. And she can do TRICKS.

The Doctor to a weeping angel: “My friends are never lost.”

Um…

Rose was lost into another universe. Donna lost her memories and thus her *self*. And Amy & Rory were lost in time, because the weeping angels GOT THEM.

This comeback has no legs.

I want to be completely clear that I love Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.

It should also be clear that I love the Lupari (dog people). In fact, the costume work (especially the geode people) and special effects in this latest Doctor Who arc are probably the absolute best ever…

Also, phrases like “the war between space and time” and ideas of multi-verses and spaces outside the universe are exactly my kind of thing…

And the woman who was turning into a Weeping Angel because she foresaw one was super awesome, and the Doctor turning into one was epic…

So, please, take all of that previous context into account when I say:

As far as I can tell, Doctor Who Flux is mostly gibberish.

I… should have expected Lost in Space to skip a year at the beginning of season 3. But somehow I hadn’t put together the pieces of 1) it’s been ages since season 2, and 2) it features a very young actor who will have very obviously aged during all the real time that’s passed.

I really appreciate about the universe that today I’m watching a new episode of Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Lost in Space without having done any preplanning or thinking about it. I just happened to have new episodes of all three space shows to watch.

I am grateful for this.
