I’ve decided before launching myself into the harsh reality of having to wait a year between October Daye books (rather than having them on tap) to hold the last one in reserve while I get myself started on the InCryptid series…
So, Discount Armageddon, here I come.
It’ll be easier for me to handle the rough transition of getting hooked on something new if I know I still have one more October Daye (and also the new Wayward Children) to look forward to reading right after it.
Yes, I’m having to carefully interleave my reading. I’m very particular about what I like, so when I like something, I get very attached.
This makes my personal life harder. But it does make being an editor easier, I think.
