Pup Pup

My big orange Sheltie doesn’t know a lot of commands, but somehow he’s learned one super command — “Pup pup!” As far as I can tell, what “Pup pup!” means to him is, “Anticipate what I want right now and do it!” Bizarrely, it’s effective in a wide range of situations.

And this is the dog who spent a year barking at an empty wall before realizing we’d moved the printer.

Vaccines, Clever Dogs, and Writing

Vaccinations are good. People need to get them. If you don’t agree, then you’re an idiot, and I wish you were only going to harm yourself. But vaccines work partly due to herd immunity, so unfortunately idiots without vaccines hurt others too. GET VACCINATED.
