Elaine informed me a few minutes ago that Kung Fu Panda was coming to visit. Just now, she introduced me to him — and he looks an awful lot like my dog Quinn.

Dancing dogs, enigmatically smiling cats, and cartwheeling otters — all the imaginary creatures that live in my head are very happy today.

Elaine the Water-Bender is attacking the Fire Nation in the kitchen right now. (We just finished watching season one of Avatar.)

We met Tof last night — Elaine *adores* her. Though, she’s still a water-bender, herself.

I remember the bananas in “Diary of a Wartime Bride” (a subset of “To Elsie With Love”) playing a much more significant role.

I’ve come into possession of the copyrights for my grandfather’s three memoirs — “Jam on the Ceiling,” “To Elsie with Love,” and “My Wife Has Alzheimer’s” — and plan to release them as e-books in the coming year.
