One Green Balloon

That feeling when you’re trying to write, and the five-year-old is repeatedly bouncing a balloon off of your head… and you’re encouraging this behavior, because it’s less disruptive than so many other options. #NaNoWriMo

Tidbits from Floundering at NaNo

Apparently the part of my brain that thought it was a good idea to put off writing my story for the Halloween reading until 4am the night before also decided I had too much of a lead on #NaNoWriMo… as such, I’ve failed to write anything today.

Alien: Prometheus

Prometheus (2012) is not a structurally satisfying film, but now that I’ve seen Alien: Covenant (2017), I guess I’ll grant that it’s not complete gibberish. And it does have some interesting parts. This is my lukewarm review of Prometheus.‬


Prometheus (2012) doesn’t really function as a stand-alone movie or even as an entry in the Alien movie franchise… but it’s pretty good (if a bit long) as a bonus extra piece of backstory.‬
