Anyone disappointed Trump lost can fucking go to hell.
The thirteen-year-old was already awake when I woke up, waiting outside my door, and when they saw I was awake, whispered, “We did it,” and then came in and gave me the longest hug. #BidenHarris2020
Thank goodness, we’ve finally come to the consensus that the horse should get the hell out of the hospital. A decision like that shouldn’t be this hard. We really need to improve voter enfranchisement so we can keep horses out of the hospital in the first place from now on.
For the rest of time, anyone who can openly admit to voting for Trump w/out expressing deep shame & true repentance should be immediately ostracized.
No one needs friends like that.
Being able to tell the difference between Trump/Pence and Biden/Harris should be the down-in-the-dirt lowest bar for entering decent society.
Anyone who can’t needs to shut their mouth & listen until they learn better. They sure as hell don’t deserve anyone listening to them.
I… feel less hopeless than I’m used to.
Oh my god we’re gonna have a president the mere sight and sound of whom doesn’t give me PTSD flashbacks to growing up with an abusive father.
A president who can properly and effectively use the phrase “inflection point”… Can you even imagine? I mean, I’m watching it, and I can’t.
Today feels unreal. But so did the last four years. I think maybe I’m not a very good judge of what is real.
My father-in-law thinks my husband should reach out to his bigoted, anti-science, forced-birther brother because the brother is -sad- that they don’t talk.
Here’s the thing though: does he ever suggest that the brother stop being bigoted? Cause, see, that makes us sad.
I mean, really, when do the super-waspy parents who want everyone to make nice start telling their forced-birther bigot children, “Why don’t you just tell your brother what he wants to hear and not bring up your beliefs?” INSTEAD OF THE FUCKING OTHER WAY AROUND?
It’s our turn.
